Ralph Towner Vinyl Records

Ralph Towner is an American jazz guitarist and composer. He is best known for his pioneering work with the jazz-rock band Oregon, which he co-founded with Paul McCandless in 1970. Towner has released over 30 albums as a solo artist and with various groups, and has collaborated with numerous other musicians including Gary Burton, John Abercrombie, Collin Walcott, Jan Garbarek, and Bill Frisell.

Towner's best-known albums include Solstice (1975), My Foolish Heart (1980), and Blue Sun (1997). He has also released a number of critically acclaimed live albums, such as Old Friends New Friends (1995) and Travel Guide (1999). Some of his most popular songs include "Easter," "My Foolish Heart," and "Island of the Sun."

An interesting fact about Ralph Towner is that he is a multi-instrumentalist and plays the classical guitar, piano, mandolin, charango, and drums. He is also a self-taught composer and arranger, and has written music for symphony orchestras, jazz bands, and string quartets.
