Rafael Kubelik Vinyl Records

Rafael Kubelík (1914–1996) was a Czech conductor, composer, and pedagogue. He is considered one of the most influential conductors of the 20th century. He is known for his interpretations of works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, and Mahler, as well as for his commitment to Czech music, such as Dvořák and Janáček.

Kubelík's standout albums include the Brahms and Bruckner Symphonies with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Beethoven Piano Concertos with Sviatoslav Richter and the Moscow Philharmonic, and the Tchaikovsky and Mahler Symphonies with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Kubelík's songs are mostly classical works, such as Mozart's 'Clarinet Concerto' and Beethoven's 'Symphony No. 3'. He also conducted Czech works, such as Dvořák's 'Symphony No. 9' and Janáček's 'Sinfonietta'.

An interesting fact about Rafael Kubelík is that he was the first conductor to record the complete symphonies of both Mahler and Tchaikovsky. He also conducted the first complete recording of Janáček's opera 'Jenůfa' and the first recording of Dvořák's 'Symphony No. 9' with a Czech orchestra.
