Premiata Forneria Marconi Vinyl Records

Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM) is an Italian progressive rock band formed in Milan in 1970. The band's founders include Franco Mussida, Flavio Premoli, Franco Loi, Giorgio Piazza, and Mauro Pagani. PFM was one of the most successful progressive rock bands in Italy, and also achieved some international success.

PFM's debut album, Storia di un Minuto (Story of a Minute), released in 1972, was the first Italian progressive rock album. The album featured a mix of progressive rock and classical music, and became an instant success. PFM went on to release a number of successful albums, such as Per un Amico (For a Friend, 1972), Photos of Ghosts (1973), The World Became the World (1974), Chocolate Kings (1975), Jet Lag (1977), and Suonare Suonare (1978).

Some of PFM's standout songs include "Celebration", "Impressioni di Settembre" (Impressions of September), "Dolcissima Maria" (Sweetest Mary), "La Carrozza di Hans" (Hans' Carriage), and "River of Life".

An interesting fact about PFM is that in 1982, the band became the first Italian rock band to perform at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
