Portugal. The Man is an American rock band formed in Wasilla, Alaska in 2004. They are composed of lead singer and guitarist John Gourley, bassist Zach Carothers, keyboardist Kyle O'Quin, and drummer Jason Sechrist. They have released nine studio albums, most notably 2013’s Evil Friends, which featured the hit single “Purple Yellow Red and Blue.” Their 2017 album Woodstock featured the chart-topping single “Feel It Still.” Portugal. The Man's most popular albums are Censored Colors (2008), American Ghetto (2010), In the Mountain in the Cloud (2011), Evil Friends (2013) and Woodstock (2017). Standout singles include “People Say” (2006), “Purple Yellow Red and Blue” (2013), “Feel It Still” (2017) and “Live in the Moment” (2018). An interesting fact about Portugal. The Man is that they have collaborated with numerous artists, including Danger Mouse, The Chamanas, and Solange. They have also been nominated for four Grammy Awards, winning Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2018 for “Feel It Still.”
