Phil Manzanera

Phil Manzanera is an English rock musician and producer, best known as the lead guitarist of the progressive rock band Roxy Music. He has also released several solo albums and worked with a variety of other artists, including Brian Eno, David Gilmour, and Robert Wyatt.

Manzanera's first album, Diamond Head, was released in 1975 and featured contributions from Eno, Wyatt, and other members of Roxy Music. He has since released several other solo albums, including the critically acclaimed Primitive Guitars (1982), Southern Cross (1983), and 50 Minutes Later (2005).

Manzanera has collaborated with numerous artists throughout his career, including David Gilmour, Robert Wyatt, Jon Anderson, and Andy Mackay. His most acclaimed collaborations are with Brian Eno, with whom he worked on several albums, including Eno's classic 1975 album Another Green World.

Manzanera's standout albums include K-Scope (1978), Primitive Guitars (1982), and 50 Minutes Later (2005). His most notable songs include "Big Day," "Out of the Blue," and "The Flex."

An interesting fact about Phil Manzanera is that he was the guitarist on the classic 1977 punk single "Anarchy in the U.K." by the Sex Pistols.
