Patsy Cline (1932–1963) was an American country music singer who achieved great success in the 1950s and early 1960s. Her career spanned just six years, but she became one of the most influential country music singers of all time. Cline was the first female solo artist inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Cline's standout albums include her 1961 debut album, Patsy Cline Showcase, and the posthumous collection of her greatest hits, Patsy Cline's Greatest Hits. Some of her most well-known songs include "Crazy," "I Fall to Pieces," "Sweet Dreams (of You)" and "Walkin' After Midnight."

An interesting fact about Cline is that she was one of the first women to have her own production company. Cline was also the first woman to be the featured solo artist on a Grand Ole Opry show.
