Nena Vinyl Records

Nena is a German pop/rock band formed in 1982. The group achieved international success in 1984 with their hit single "99 Luftballons". The band's lineup has changed several times over the years and the current lineup consists of founding members, vocalist and songwriter Gabriele "Nena" Kerner and guitarist Carlo Karges, along with keyboardist Jörn-Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen, bassist Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen, drummer Rolf Brendel, and guitarist/vocalist Philipp Palm.

Nena's debut album, Nena (1983), was a huge success in Germany and spawned the single "99 Luftballons", which became an international hit, reaching number one in the US, UK and other countries. Other successful albums by the band include Feuer und Flamme (1984), Eisbrecher (1986), and Oldschool (2012).

Nena's standout songs include "99 Luftballons", "Irgendwie, Irgendwo, Irgendwann", "Leuchtturm", "Nur geträumt" and "Lass mich dein Pirat sein".

An interesting fact about Nena is that their lead singer Gabriele "Nena" Kerner is the mother of the lead singer of the German rock band Tokio Hotel, Bill Kaulitz.
