Mount Kimbie is an English electronic music duo formed in London in 2008 by Dominic Maker and Kai Campos. Their music combines elements of electronic, hip hop, dubstep and post-rock. They are considered pioneers of the post-dubstep genre. The duo's debut album, Crooks & Lovers (2010), was a critical success and propelled them to the forefront of the electronic music scene. It featured the singles "Maybes" and "Carbonated", which were both praised by critics. The duo's second album, Cold Spring Fault Less Youth (2013), was equally acclaimed and spawned the singles "Made To Stray" and "Break Well". The duo's third album, Love What Survives (2017), saw them take a more experimental approach and featured collaborations with a number of artists, including James Blake and King Krule. The album spawned the singles "Blue Train Lines" and "Delta". An interesting fact about Mount Kimbie is that their music has been featured in a number of films, including Sofia Coppola's Somewhere (2010) and Richard Ayoade's The Double (2013).
