Misfits Vinyl Records

Misfits is an American punk rock band formed in 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey. The band is often recognized as a major influence on the horror punk and punk rock genres. They are renowned for their dark and ghoulish image, as well as their horror-themed lyrics and distinctive sound.

The band released their first studio album, Walk Among Us, in 1982 and it quickly became a cult classic, spawning two hit singles "Skulls" and "Last Caress". They followed up with the album Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood in 1983, which was even more popular and spawned the fan favorite single "Die, Die My Darling". Their third album, Static Age, was recorded in 1978 but not released until 1996.

The Misfits have released several other albums throughout their career, such as American Psycho, Famous Monsters, Project 1950, and The Devil's Rain. The band's most recent studio album, The Devil's Rain, was released in 2011.

An interesting fact about Misfits is that the band's original vocalist, Glenn Danzig, was also the founder of the horror punk band Samhain and the heavy metal band Danzig.
