Mike Patton is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, film composer, and record producer best known as the lead singer of the alternative metal band Faith No More. He has also been involved in many other musical projects, including Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Fantômas, Peeping Tom, and Lovage.

Patton's musical career began in 1981 when he joined the San Francisco Bay Area band Faith No More. The band released five studio albums before disbanding in 1998. Their breakout album, The Real Thing, was released in 1989 and featured the hit singles “Epic” and “Falling to Pieces.” Their follow-up album, Angel Dust, was released in 1992 and was their most successful album, featuring the singles “Midlife Crisis” and “A Small Victory.”

Patton has also released several solo albums, including Adult Themes for Voice (1996), Pranzo Oltranzista (1998), Mondo Cane (2010), and Sol Invictus (2015). He has also released numerous albums with other bands, including Mr. Bungle's self-titled album (1991), Fantômas' self-titled album (1999), and Tomahawk's Mit Gas (2003).

Some of Patton's most popular songs include “Epic”, “Midlife Crisis”, “A Small Victory”, “Spilling Beers”, “Sweet Dreams”, and “The Hellion/Electric Eye”.

An interesting fact about Mike Patton is that he has a wide vocal range, with a low register of C2 and a high register of G6.
