Michel Colombier

French composer for film music, born 23 May 1939 in Lyon, France and died 14 November 2004 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Generally regarded as one of the most innovative record arrangers of the 1960s in France for the likes of Charles Aznavour and Jeanne Moreau. Later, he was signed by Herb Alpert’s A&M Records and started a new career in America. Worked with Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, The Beach Boys, and others. Moreover, he wrote over one-hundred film scores and twenty ballets.
