Men Without Hats is a Canadian new wave/synthpop band that was founded in 1979 by brothers Ivan and Stefan Doroschuk. The band is best known for their 1982 hit single "The Safety Dance", which topped the US and Canadian charts and reached the top 5 in several other countries.

The band's other notable singles include "Pop Goes The World" (1987), "I Got the Message" (1983) and "Where Do The Boys Go?" (1984).

Men Without Hats released seven studio albums: Rhythm of Youth (1982), Folk of the 80's (Part III) (1984), Freeways (1985), The Adventures of Women & Men Without Hate in the 21st Century (1989), Sideways (1991), Love in the Age of War (2012), and No Hats Beyond This Point (2015).

An interesting fact about Men Without Hats is that their song "The Safety Dance" was originally written as a protest song, intended to be a response to clubs that did not allow people to dance to certain kinds of music.
