Marlon Williams is a singer-songwriter and musician from New Zealand who has been making music since 2011. He has released two full-length albums and a number of singles, as well as featuring on other artist's work. His first album, self-titled Marlon Williams, was released in 2015 and was a critical success, earning him the New Zealand Music Award for Best Male Solo Artist. His second album, Make Way for Love, was released in 2018 and was even more successful, being shortlisted for the Taite Music Prize and earning him the New Zealand Music Award for Best Male Solo Artist for a second time.

Some of his standout albums and songs include "Dark Child", "Vampire Again", "What's Chasing You" and "Party Boy", all of which were released on his debut album. From his second album, standout tracks include "Nobody Gets What They Want Anymore", "Can I Call You" and "Love Is a Terrible Thing".

An interesting fact about Marlon Williams is that he was the first artist to be signed to Flying Nun Records in over a decade.
