Marcia Hines is an Australian singer, songwriter, and actress, who first rose to fame in 1974 as the runner up on the Australian talent show "Young Talent Time". She went on to become one of Australia's most successful female singers, selling over two million albums during her career. Her breakout album "Marcia Shines" released in 1975, was a huge success, with songs like "You" and "Something's Missing (In My Life)". Her second album "Marcia" released in 1976, featured the hit single "From The Inside" and the classic cover of "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself".

Hines released six more albums throughout her career, with her most successful being "Ooh Child" in 1992, which featured the title track as well as the hit single "Walk Away". She has also released several compilations, a Christmas album and a live album.

An interesting fact about Marcia Hines is that she was the first Indigenous Australian singer to win the Australian Music Awards "Most Popular Female Performer" award in 1978.
