Magna Carta Vinyl Records

The Magna Carta is a British folk rock band that was formed in 1969 by Chris Simpson, his brother Glenn and their friend Lyell Tranter. The band has had a long and successful career, releasing over 20 albums and touring extensively in the UK, Europe and the US.

The Magna Carta's most acclaimed and successful albums include Lord of the Ages (1973), Songs from Wasties Orchard (1976), The Marksman (1982) and In the Beginning (1985). Standout songs include "Airport Song," "Lady Eleanor," "Child of the Universe," "Chasing the Dragon" and "Horse with No Name."

An interesting fact about the Magna Carta is that they were the first band to be inducted into the British Folk Rock Hall of Fame in 2008.
