Mad Professor Vinyl Records

Mad Professor, born Neil Joseph Stephen Fraser, is a dub music producer and engineer from Georgetown, Guyana. He is widely credited with pioneering the dub music genre. His career spans four decades and he has worked with many notable reggae and dub artists, including Lee "Scratch" Perry, Sly & Robbie, Dennis Bovell, and Jah Shaka.

Mad Professor has released over 100 albums since 1982, beginning with his first solo album, Dub Me Crazy Part 1. His standout albums include Black Liberation Dub (1993), Dub Me Crazy Part 3 (1985), and Dub You Crazy Too (1998). His most popular songs include “Mystic Warrior” (from Black Liberation Dub), “Dub In The Jungle” (from Dub Me Crazy Part 3), and “Inner City Dub” (from Dub You Crazy Too).

An interesting fact about Mad Professor is that he is the founder of Ariwa Sounds, the world's longest running independent record label specializing in reggae and dub music. He has also worked with artists such as Massive Attack, Sade, and Tricky.
