Love Unlimited Orchestra Vinyl Records

Love Unlimited Orchestra was an American orchestra founded in 1971 by Barry White, who also wrote and arranged most of the group's music. The orchestra was a part of the "Love Unlimited" umbrella, which included a female vocal trio and a male vocal quartet.

The orchestra released seven albums between 1973 and 1981, all of which were produced by White. Their most successful album was the 1974 release, Rhapsody in White, which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart. It featured the hit singles "Love's Theme" and "Satin Soul".

Their other albums include My Sweet Summer Suite (1975), Together Brothers (1975), Music Maestro Please (1977), Rhapsody in White (1977), Love Is Back (1979), and In Heat (1981).

The orchestra also provided backing music for White's solo releases and other artists, including the Jackson 5, Freddie King, and Dennis Coffey.

An interesting fact about Love Unlimited Orchestra is that they are credited as the first successful commercial example of a large-scale disco orchestra.
