Laibach Vinyl Records

Laibach is a Slovenian avant-garde music group formed in 1980 in the city of Trbovlje. It is known for its unique, militaristic sound and use of political symbolism. The group's name is taken from the German name for the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana.

Laibach's discography includes several standout albums. 1984's Nova Akropola (New Acropolis) is considered a classic of the New Wave genre. It was followed by the experimental albums Let It Be (1985) and Opus Dei (1987). The group also released the compilation album NATO (1994), which featured new material alongside re-recordings of some of their earliest works.

The group is also known for their numerous singles and EPs, including the classic "Life is Life" (1985) and "Tanz Mit Laibach" (1985).

An interesting fact about Laibach is that they have had a long-standing relationship with the North Korean government. The band was the first Western act to perform in the country in 2015, and returned in 2018 to perform their first-ever North Korean tour.
