LaBelle is an American all-female vocal group formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1962. The original members included Patti LaBelle, Sarah Dash, and Nona Hendryx. The group is most widely known for their R&B and soul music, although they have also had success in pop, disco, and gospel music.

Their most successful album was Nightbirds, released in 1974, which featured the hits "Lady Marmalade" and "What Can I Do For You?". The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA and the single "Lady Marmalade" topped the charts in both the US and the UK. Other popular albums include Labelle (1971), Chameleon (1976), and Phoenix (1975).

LaBelle also had several successful singles, including "You Turn Me On", "If You Only Knew", and "Isn't It a Shame".

An interesting fact about LaBelle is that in 1976, they were the first all-female group to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.
