Kyuss Vinyl Records

Kyuss was an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1987 by vocalist John Garcia, guitarist Josh Homme, bassist Nick Oliveri, and drummer Brant Bjork. Kyuss is considered one of the founding fathers of the stoner rock and desert rock genres, and their sound was heavily influenced by 1970s hard rock and early heavy metal. Kyuss released four studio albums between 1992 and 1995: Wretch (1992), Blues for the Red Sun (1992), Welcome to Sky Valley (1994), and ...And the Circus Leaves Town (1995). These albums featured the band’s most iconic songs, such as “Green Machine”, “Gardenia”, “Space Cadet”, and “Supa Scoopa and Mighty Scoop”. An interesting fact about Kyuss is that their name is derived from the mythical sword-and-sorcery role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons. The band's name is actually a reference to the Kyuss Worm, a monstrous creature that appears in the game.
