Kurt Vile Vinyl Records

Kurt Vile is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has released nine solo albums, seven studio albums and two EPs, and has been a member of the indie rock band The War on Drugs since 2008. Vile's signature style of lo-fi, reverb-drenched, fuzz-laden guitar and vocals has become his trademark sound.

Vile's most notable albums include Smoke Ring for My Halo (2011), Wakin on a Pretty Daze (2013), b'lieve i'm goin down (2015) and Bottle It In (2018). His breakthrough single, "Pretty Pimpin," was released in 2015 and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song.

Kurt Vile has collaborated with a number of artists, including John Prine, Courtney Barnett, and Dinosaur Jr. He has also contributed to the soundtracks of films such as Baby Driver and Inherent Vice.

An interesting fact about Kurt Vile is that he was once a professional skateboarder and was sponsored by companies such as Quiksilver and Tony Hawk's Birdhouse Skateboards. He continues to skate to this day and even has his own skateboard company, Silverfish Skateboards.
