John Munro Vinyl Records
John Munro is a Scottish musician, singer and songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland. He has released four studio albums and one live album since his solo debut in 2005.
Munro's most successful album to date is 2012's We Could Be Kings, which spawned the singles "To The River", "We Could Be Kings" and "The Same". Other standout albums include 2007's The Life Of John Munro and 2016's Open Road.
Munro has collaborated with some of Scotland's most renowned musicians, such as guitarist Tim O'Brien, accordionist Phil Cunningham, and bassist Ewen Vernal. His live shows feature a blend of traditional and modern folk, rock, and country music.
An interesting fact about John Munro is that he is a master of the Scottish Bagpipes. He has performed the instrument on stage with many of his bands, including in his latest solo album, Open Road.
