Joe Satriani is an American instrumental rock guitarist who has been active since the 1980s. He is widely considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time and has been referred to as a virtuoso and a guitar hero.

Satriani's most well-known albums are Surfing with the Alien (1987), The Extremist (1992), and Crystal Planet (1998). His most popular songs are “Always with Me, Always with You”, “Summer Song”, and “Crowd Chant”.

An interesting fact about Satriani is that he was a guitar teacher in the Bay Area before his own success and has mentored many famous musicians, including Kirk Hammett of Metallica, Steve Vai, and Larry LaLonde of Primus.
