Joe Farrell Vinyl Records

Joe Farrell was an American jazz saxophonist, flutist, and composer who was active from the mid-1960s to the early 1980s. He was best known for his work in jazz fusion and other jazz-funk genres. His style was often described as soulful, yet still technical and virtuosic.

Farrell's first album was Outback in 1968 and he released several others throughout the 1970s and 80s, including Moon Germs (1974), Canned Funk (1975), Skate Board Park (1976), and La Catedral Y El Toro (1980).

Farrell's most well-known albums are arguably Moon Germs and Canned Funk. The former includes the standout tracks "Moon Germs" and "Dolphin Dance" while the latter includes the songs "Upon This Rock" and "Canned Funk".

An interesting fact about Farrell is that he was known for having an incredibly wide range of musical influences, from classical and blues to Latin and funk. He often combined these different genres to create his own unique sound.
