Working class hero, who achieved star status as the singer of the Adelaide blues rock formation Cold Chisel founded in '74. Since '84 he has been making solo AOR rock of a high standard. PSYCLONE is live and with SOUL DEEPER: SONGS FROM THE SOUTH, an album full of soul covers, he breaks all sales records. After a financial debacle Barnes leaves Australia for Europe, where he records a single with the Dutch Pilgrims in '96. In the new millennium he also performs regularly in the Netherlands. Summer '03 Barnes forms the group Living Loud with Steve Morse (guitar), Bob Daisley (bass) and Lee Kerslake (drums), which releases LIVING LOUD in '04.
