His most successful albums include The Jimmie Skinner Story (1957), It's a Good Day (1958), and I'm Movin' On (1959). His biggest hit songs include "A Dear John Letter" (with Jean Shepard), "I'm Movin' On," "It's a Sin," "If You Don't Somebody Else Will," and "Too Much Water."
