Jenny Morris is an Australian singer-songwriter and musician who has had a successful career spanning more than 30 years. She is best known for her hit singles ‘She Has To Be Loved’ and ‘Break In The Weather’, as well as her work with the band QED.

Her debut solo album, Body and Soul, was released in 1987 and featured the hit single ‘She Has To Be Loved’. The album was a success, peaking at number one on the ARIA charts and going on to be certified platinum.

In 1989, Morris released her second solo album, Shiver. The album featured the hit single ‘Break In The Weather’, which reached number four on the ARIA charts and went on to become one of the biggest selling singles of the year.

Morris has also released two albums with QED, a pop/rock band she formed in 1992. The band released two albums, One Plus One (1993) and Here and Now (1996), which both reached the ARIA top 10.

In 2003, Morris released her third solo album, Hit & Myth. The album was a departure from her previous work and featured a more electronic sound.

An interesting fact about Jenny Morris is that she has performed on stage with some of the biggest names in music, including Madonna, Elton John, Bob Dylan and U2.
