Jennifer Warnes

Jennifer Warnes is an American singer-songwriter, arranger and record producer who has released a number of critically acclaimed albums and singles over the course of her career. She rose to prominence in the late 1970s with the release of her debut album Jennifer. She is perhaps best known for her 1986 collaboration with singer-songwriter and producer Leonard Cohen on his album I'm Your Man and its single "Famous Blue Raincoat".

Warnes has released eight studio albums to date, including her critically acclaimed debut Jennifer (1977) and her platinum-selling follow-up Shot Through the Heart (1979). She also released the hit albums The Hunter (1982) and Famous Blue Raincoat (1987). Other standout albums include The Well (1996), The Rise and Fall of Paradise (1998) and The Well (2003).

Warnes is also known for her singles "Right Time of the Night" (1977), "I Know a Heartache When I See One" (1979), "Up Where We Belong" (1982), a duet with Joe Cocker, and "First We Take Manhattan" (1987).
