Janis Ian (born Janis Eddy Fink) is an American singer-songwriter who was most prominent in the 1960s and 1970s. She started performing folk music at the age of twelve and released her first album, “Janis Ian” in 1967. She is best known for her hit singles “At Seventeen” and “Society’s Child”, both of which earned her Grammy Award nominations. Her standout albums include “Between the Lines” (1975), which was certified Platinum, and “Miracle Row” (1977). Some of her best-known songs are “In the Winter”, “Love Is Blind”, “Jesse” and “Stars”.
