Jackson Browne

Jackson Browne is an American singer-songwriter and musician known for his introspective and melodic songwriting. He began his career in the early 1970s, when he joined the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band as a backup vocalist and guitarist. He went on to release his debut solo album, Saturate Before Using, in 1972.

Browne has released numerous albums throughout his career, with several of them becoming major successes. His 1975 album, Late for the Sky, is considered one of his best albums, with standout tracks such as "Fountain of Sorrow" and "The Late Show". His 1976 album The Pretender was also a major success, with hits such as "Here Come Those Tears Again" and "The Pretender". In 1977, Browne released the album Running on Empty, which featured the popular title track and "The Load-Out".
