Jack Nitzsche was an American composer, arranger, producer, songwriter, and musician who is known for his collaborations with the likes of The Rolling Stones, Phil Spector, and Neil Young. He was an important contributor to the “West Coast Sound” of the 1960s and is best known for his work on the classic songs “These Boots Are Made For Walking”, “Paint It, Black”, “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin”, and “Up On The Roof”.

Nitzsche's most notable albums include The Lonely Surfer (1963), The Savage Seven (1968), and St. Giles Cripplegate (1972). He also produced and arranged albums by various artists, such as Neil Young's Harvest and Tonight's the Night, which is considered one of the most influential albums of the 1970s.

An interesting fact about Jack Nitzsche is that he was a multi-instrumentalist and could play the piano, guitar, harmonica, and drums. He was also a trained classical pianist who studied at the Los Angeles Conservatory of Music.
