J. Cole is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and record executive. He first received recognition in 2007, when his debut mixtape, The Come Up, was released to critical acclaim. Since then, he has released four studio albums, two compilation albums, two extended plays, and nine mixtapes.

Cole's standout albums include 2014 Forest Hills Drive, 4 Your Eyez Only, and KOD. 2014 Forest Hills Drive was certified triple platinum, and included the singles "Wet Dreamz", "No Role Modelz", and "Apparently". 4 Your Eyez Only was certified gold, and included the singles "Deja Vu" and "Neighbors". KOD was certified gold, and included the singles "ATM" and "KOD".

An interesting fact about J. Cole is that he is the first artist to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 with their first three studio albums. He is also the first artist to have their first six studio albums reach the top of the Billboard 200.
