Herb Ellis Vinyl Records

Herb Ellis was an American jazz guitarist who was active from the 1940s until his death in 2010. He is best known for his association with the Oscar Peterson Trio, which he joined in 1958 and stayed with until 1965. He was also a member of the Jazz at the Philharmonic All-Stars.

Ellis released several solo albums throughout his career, most notably After Hours (1960), The Herb Ellis Album (1962), Soft & Swinging (1963), and Soft & Swinging Vol. 2 (1966). His standout albums and songs include "After Hours", "I Don't Stand a Ghost of a Chance With You", "Stompin' at the Savoy", and "Blue Bossa".

An interesting fact about Herb Ellis is that he was the first jazz musician to use the electric guitar, which he incorporated into his sound in 1948.
