Ghazal

Ghazal is a form of classical music and poetry originating in the Middle East and North Africa. It is traditionally performed by two singers (male and female) and typically follows a 12-beat cycle. It is often sung in a plaintive, melancholic tone and is usually accompanied by instruments such as the tabla, harmonium, and sarangi. The lyrics are typically romantic, and the melodies are often drawn from traditional folk songs.
