Gene Loves Jezebel Vinyl Records

Gene Loves Jezebel is a Welsh rock band formed in the early 1980s by twin brothers Jay and Michael Aston. The band's music is a blend of post-punk and gothic rock, and their style has often been compared to that of The Sisters of Mercy and The Cult.

The band's standout albums include Discover (1985), The House of Dolls (1988), and Kiss of Life (1992). Notable songs include "Desire," "The Motion of Love," and "Jealous" from the Discover album; "The Cow" and "Break the Chain" from The House of Dolls; and "Twentieth Century" and "Influenza" from Kiss of Life.

An interesting fact about Gene Loves Jezebel is that they have had a number of lineup changes over the years, but the core of the band has remained the Aston brothers. They have also had numerous side projects, including Michael Aston's post-punk group, Michael and the Mechanics.
