Gallagher & Lyle Vinyl Records

Gallagher & Lyle are a Scottish musical duo formed in 1972 by singer-songwriters Benny Gallagher and Graham Lyle. They had a successful career in the 1970s and 1980s, charting fifteen albums and more than twenty singles in the UK. Their best-known songs include "Heart on My Sleeve", "I Wanna Stay With You", and "Breakaway".

Gallagher & Lyle's first album, Breakaway, was released in 1972 and included their first hit single, "Heart on My Sleeve". The duo achieved further success in 1976 with their second album, Seeds, which included the singles "I Wanna Stay With You" and "Heart on My Sleeve". Their third album, Love on the Airwaves, was released in 1977 and featured the hit singles "Breakaway" and "The Last Cowboy Song". The duo's greatest success came in 1979 with their fourth album, Lonesome No More, which featured the single "I Believe In You".

The duo's fifth album, Out of the Blue, was released in 1981 and featured the single "Turn of the Tide". Gallagher & Lyle's last studio album, Hearts and Bones, was released in 1982 and included the single "Easier Said Than Done".

An interesting fact about Gallagher & Lyle is that they are cousins; Benny Gallagher is the uncle of Graham Lyle.
