Four Tet Vinyl Records

Four Tet is a British electronic music producer, founded by Kieran Hebden in 1998. Hebden originally released his music under the moniker of 4T Recordings, before changing it to Four Tet in 1999. His music is known for its experimental, often ambient sound, as well as its incorporation of traditional Indian music, jazz and hip-hop.

Four Tet's first album, Dialogue, was released in 1999. It is widely considered to be a classic of the genre, with its unique blend of beats, samples and melodies. The album has been cited as an influence by artists such as Bonobo, Caribou and Aphex Twin.

The following year, Four Tet released Pause, which further developed the sound of Dialogue, and featured collaborations with Thom Yorke and Burial. The album was critically acclaimed, and featured on numerous year-end lists.

Rounds, released in 2003, is arguably Four Tet's most popular album. It saw a move away from the ambient sound of the previous two albums, and instead focused on more uptempo, beat-driven music. The album featured guest appearances from Steve Reid and Thom Yorke, and spawned the singles "My Angel Rocks Back and Forth" and "As Serious as Your Life".

Four Tet's most recent album, Beautiful Rewind, was released in 2013. The album was produced using mostly analog equipment, and featured collaborations with vocalists such as Planningtorock and Bloc Party's Kele Okereke.

Four Tet is also known for his remixes, having reworked songs from artists such as Radiohead, Bjork, and Arcade Fire.

An interesting fact about Four Tet is that he was born and raised in Putney, London. He has also collaborated with singer-songwriter, folk and jazz musician Steve Reid on numerous occasions.
