Faith No More Vinyl Records

Faith No More is an American alternative metal band formed in San Francisco in 1979. The band has gone through numerous lineup changes over the years and is currently composed of vocalist Mike Patton, bassist Billy Gould, keyboardist Roddy Bottum, drummer Mike Bordin and guitarist Jon Hudson.

The band has released seven studio albums, with their first two, We Care a Lot (1985) and Introduce Yourself (1987), being the most successful. Both albums received critical acclaim and were certified gold by the RIAA. Faith No More's breakout album, 1989's The Real Thing, was a commercial success and reached the top 20 of the US Billboard 200 and earned the band a Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance for the single "Epic".

The band's most successful single is their cover of the Commodores' "Easy", which reached number one in the UK Singles Chart and number nine in the US Hot 100. Other popular songs by Faith No More include "Midlife Crisis", "Falling to Pieces", "Evidence" and "Last Cup of Sorrow".

An interesting fact about Faith No More is that they are credited with creating the musical genre known as alternative metal. Combining elements of heavy metal, funk and hip hop, they are considered to be one of the pioneers of the genre.
