Eurythmics is a British rock band formed in 1980 by Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart. The duo went on to become one of the most successful acts of the 1980s, and their influence on the music of the time was undeniable.

The duo's first album, In the Garden, was released in 1981, and was a critical and commercial success. The album featured the hit single "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", which became a worldwide hit. Their next album, Touch, was released in 1983 and featured the singles "Love Is a Stranger" and "Who's That Girl?".

Their next album, Be Yourself Tonight, was released in 1985 and featured the hit singles "Would I Lie to You?" and "There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart)". The duo's most successful album, however, was their 1989 release We Too Are One, which featured the singles "It's Alright (Baby's Coming Back)" and "Thorn in My Side".

The duo's last album, Peace, was released in 1999 and featured the hit single "I Saved the World Today".

Eurythmics had a total of eight UK Top 10 singles, including two number one hits, and won numerous awards throughout their career, including two Grammys and two Brit Awards.

An interesting fact about Eurythmics is that they were the first British band to have two consecutive number one singles in the US charts. They achieved this feat with the singles "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" and "Would I Lie to You?".
