Eumir Deodato Vinyl Records

Eumir Deodato is a Brazilian pianist, composer, arranger, and producer who is widely known for his fusion of jazz and classical music with Brazilian and pop music. He is one of the most respected figures in the music industry, having worked with a diverse range of artists such as Frank Sinatra, George Benson, Paul McCartney, and Steely Dan.

Deodato's most acclaimed album is his 1973 release Prelude, which includes the funk classic "Also Sprach Zarathustra (2001)", a cover of the famous composition from Richard Strauss' tone poem of the same name. The song was sampled by Kanye West for his hit single "Power" in 2010. Other standout albums from Deodato include Deodato 2 (1973), First Cuckoo (1975), and Artistry (1977).

An interesting fact about Eumir Deodato is that he was the first artist to win a Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance, for his cover of "Also Sprach Zarathustra (2001)" in 1974.
