Eric Burdon & The Animals Vinyl Records

Eric Burdon & The Animals were a British rock band formed in Newcastle, England in 1964. The original lineup consisted of Eric Burdon on vocals, Alan Price on keyboards, Hilton Valentine on guitar, Chas Chandler on bass, and John Steel on drums. The band achieved international fame with their anthemic hits such as "The House of the Rising Sun", "We Gotta Get Out of This Place", and "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood".

The band released their debut album, The Animals, in 1964, which was an immediate success, reaching the top five on the UK Albums Chart and selling over one million copies. They followed up with their classic sophomore album, The Animals on Tour, in 1965, which featured the hit singles "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" and "We Gotta Get Out of This Place". The band's third album, Animal Tracks, released in 1966, featured the hit single "It's My Life".

Eric Burdon & The Animals disbanded in 1968, with Burdon going on to have a successful solo career. They reunited briefly in the 1970s and 1980s for a handful of concerts and studio recordings, but never released any new material.

The band's best known and most successful albums include The Animals (1964), The Animals on Tour (1965), and Animal Tracks (1966). Their most popular singles include "The House of the Rising Sun", "We Gotta Get Out of This Place", "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", and "It's My Life".

An interesting fact about Eric Burdon & The Animals is that their version of "The House of the Rising Sun" was the first ever single to be released in both mono and stereo formats.
