Edie Brickell & New Bohemians Vinyl Records

Edie Brickell & New Bohemians are an alternative rock band formed in Dallas, Texas in 1983. They are best known for their 1988 hit single "What I Am", which reached number seven on the Billboard Hot 100.

The band consists of Edie Brickell (vocals, guitar), Kenny Withrow (guitar), John Bush (drums), Brad Houser (bass) and David Crawford (keyboards).

The band's debut album, Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars, was released in 1988 and featured the hit single "What I Am", as well as the follow-up singles "Little Miss S." and "Circle". The album was certified gold and received two Grammy nominations.

Their second album, Ghost of a Dog, was released in 1990 and featured the singles "Good Times" and "Mama Help Me".

The band's third album, The New Bohemians, was released in 1993 and featured the single "Go".

The band has since released two additional albums, Stranger Things (2003) and Rocket (2015).

An interesting fact about the band is that Edie Brickell is married to singer-songwriter Paul Simon.
