Dion is an American rock and roll singer, songwriter and record producer, who rose to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s. He is best known for his 1961 hit single "Runaround Sue". Dion's music has been described as a mix of doo-wop, R&B, rockabilly, gospel, and blues.

Dion's standout albums include Runaround Sue (1961), Lovers Who Wander (1962), and Born to Be With You (1976). His songs "The Wanderer" (1961) and "Abraham, Martin and John" (1968) are also considered classics.
