Dead Or Alive Vinyl Records

Dead Or Alive was an English pop band from Liverpool, England, formed in 1979 by frontman Pete Burns, guitarist Mike Percy, bassist Steve Coy, and drummer Tim Lever. They were known for their combination of synthpop and new wave music with dance-pop. Their most successful singles included “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)”, “Brand New Lover”, “That's the Way (I Like It)”, and “Something in My House”.

The band’s standout albums include 1985’s Youthquake, 1987’s Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know, 1989’s Nukleopatra, and 1994’s Nukleopatra. Some of their most popular songs include “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)”, “Brand New Lover”, “That's the Way (I Like It)”, “Something in My House”, and “My Heart Goes Bang (Get Me to the Doctor)”.

An interesting fact about Dead Or Alive is that the band was one of the first to combine elements of punk, glam rock, and synthpop music into their sound. They were also among the first acts to be signed to the newly founded record label, Mute Records, in 1980.
