David Zinman Vinyl Records

David Zinman is an American conductor and music director. He has conducted a variety of orchestras throughout the world, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.

Zinman is known for his interpretations of Beethoven, Mozart, and Brahms, as well as his recordings of American composers such as Charles Ives, Elliott Carter, and Aaron Copland.

Some of his standout albums include Beethoven: The Symphonies (1995), Mozart: The Symphonies (1997), and Brahms: The Symphonies (1999). His recording of Beethoven's Symphonies No. 3 and 8 won a Grammy Award in 1998.

An interesting fact about Zinman is that he was the first conductor to record all of Beethoven's symphonies on period instruments. He also conducted the first performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 on period instruments in 1997.
