David Sanborn Vinyl Records

David Sanborn is an American saxophonist and composer who is considered one of the most influential saxophonists of his generation. He is known for his work in jazz, pop, rock, and rhythm and blues.

Sanborn's first two albums, Taking Off (1975) and Heart to Heart (1978) were critically acclaimed and established his reputation as a jazz musician. He has released a total of 19 albums as a solo artist, and has also appeared as a guest artist on numerous albums. His standout albums include Voyeur (1980), As We Speak (1982), Straight to the Heart (1984), Close-Up (1987), and Here & Gone (2008).

Sanborn is best known for his hit single "Hideaway" from his album Voyeur, as well as his work on the soundtracks for movies such as Lethal Weapon and An American Werewolf in London. He also collaborated with popular artists such as Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, and Stevie Wonder.

An interesting fact about David Sanborn is that he has won six Grammy Awards for Best Pop Instrumental Performance. He was also awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston in 1999.
