Chuck Mangione is an American flugelhorn player and composer from Rochester, New York. He is best known for his jazz-fusion compositions, many of which have become standards in the jazz repertoire. Mangione has released over 30 albums, several of which have gone platinum and gold.

Mangione's most notable albums include "Feels So Good" (1977), which featured the hit title track and the Grammy-winning instrumental "Hill Where The Lord Hides". Other standout albums include "Friends & Love" (1970), "Land of Make Believe" (1973), and "Journey to a Rainbow" (1979).

Among his most popular songs are "Give It All You Got", "Chase the Clouds Away", "Feels So Good", and "Children of Sanchez", the latter of which was featured in the 1978 film of the same name.

An interesting fact about Chuck Mangione is that he studied music theory and composition at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York, and later taught music at the school for five years. He also composed the score for the 1981 film The Great Muppet Caper.
