Charles Dutoit is a Swiss conductor and artistic director who has been active in the music world since 1959. He is best known for his collaborations with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also served as chief conductor of the NHK Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre National de France, and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Some of Charles Dutoit's standout albums include Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique (1976), Debussy Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune (1980), Ravel Daphnis et Chloé (1982), and Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 6 (1986). His most popular songs include "Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique," "Debussy Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune," and "Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 6."

An interesting fact about Charles Dutoit is that he was the first non-French conductor to lead the Orchestre National de France, and he was also the first conductor to record all of the symphonies of Gustav Mahler.
