Change was an Italian-American post-disco group formed in Bologna, Italy in 1979 by Jacques Fred Petrus and Mauro Malavasi. The group's most successful period was between 1979 and 1987, during which they released six albums and had a number of hits, particularly in the US and UK. Their debut album, The Glow of Love, was released in 1980 and featured their biggest hit single, the title track, which reached number one on the US Dance chart. Other notable singles from the album include "A Lover's Holiday", "Searching" and "Paradise". Their second album, Miracles, was released in 1981 and featured the singles "The Very Best in You" and "Oh What a Feeling". The album was a hit in the UK, peaking at number 12 on the UK Albums Chart. Their third album, Sharing Your Love, was released in 1982 and featured the single "Change of Heart", which reached number three on the US Dance chart. The album also featured the singles "Hold Tight" and "Heaven of My Life". Their fourth album, This Is Your Time, was released in 1984 and featured the singles "Angel in My Pocket" and "Glow of Love '84". The album was another hit in the UK, peaking at number 16 on the UK Albums Chart. Their fifth album, Together, was released in 1985 and featured the singles "Let's Go Together" and "Say You Love Me Again". Their sixth and final album, Change of Heart, was released in 1987 and featured the singles "Paradise (Extended Remix)" and "Change of Heart (Extended Remix)". Interesting Fact: Change's song "A Lover's Holiday" was sampled in the 2007 hit single "Umbrella" by Rihanna featuring Jay-Z.
