Burt Bacharach is an American pianist, composer, and music producer who has been active since the 1950s. He is known for writing popular songs, such as "Walk On By," "The Look of Love," and "Close to You," with lyricist Hal David. He is also a six-time Grammy Award winner.

Bacharach's most successful and well-known albums include What's New Pussycat? (1965), Make It Easy on Yourself (1969), Reach Out (1967), and his collaboration with Elvis Costello on Painted From Memory (1998). His most popular songs include "What's New Pussycat?", "I Say a Little Prayer," "Alfie," "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head," and "Do You Know the Way to San Jose?".

An interesting fact about Burt Bacharach is that he was the first musician to win an Oscar, a Grammy, and a Tony award in the same year, in 1969. He won an Oscar for the song "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
